The objectives of the present study were: 1) To evaluate the efficacy of arthroscopy in the treatment of CCL of the TMJ; 2) To compare arthroscopic lysis & lavage versus operative arthroscopy in the treatment of CCL of the TMJ; 3) To evaluate whether or not the status of the joint surface and the synovial linning directly visualized with arthroscopy could determine post-operative results in patients with CCL of the TMJ. - Slides
